Two of my cute neighbors and I planned a neighborhood Halloween party for the neighborhood kids. We had them go on a halloween scavenger hunt with clues taking them to a graveyard, (with decorating tombstones and a graveyard musical chairs game) a mad scientist's lab (Josh dressed up as Professor Yonkers & showed the kids gross food body parts of Hal O. Ween), a pirate's ship (& a fun search for the hidden treasure), and a reading of a Halloween story (about a scarecrow). Then at the end we had them end with bobbing for apples, eating donuts off a string, and lots of food. The other neighbor moms that helped us out were AWESOME! And I think the kids loved it! Josh only made one kid cry from fright at his lab, overall it really was so cute and fun. I think it may turn into a tradition! I think it was worth all the work since the kids had so much fun!

OK, so I haven't blogged in forever, but I just read your hygienist story....awesome! I think I have a few patients that think I'm the devil! Can't say that I don't do it on purpose sometimes!
I've been thinking of you lately. You are the coolest mom ever! The Halloween party looks like a real hit! I can't believe how big the kiddies are. Will Annelise be 5 or 6 this year? She'll be able to fly out to visit me soon! We miss you. Tell Josh hi and give us a call sometime.
