Annelise and Aaron both participated in the school choir this year and they had a super cute performance this past month. It was a patriotic program in honor of the upcoming presidental election that was coming. Unfortunately, our candidate of choice, Mitt Romney, did not win. It was a very sad night for our family and I am sad that our country will not get the privelage to have a great man like Mitt to lead us. Some have said that the country people who voted for Obama care more about "Free" than "freedom". I tend to agree.

This year for Thanksgiving we have had some visitors staying at our house and it really made the holiday more like what you expect from a holiday with family all around. It is so fun...so thanks to the Waters and Yeates family

We had the most wonderful snowfall a couple weeks ago and here are the pictures to prove it! We had so much fun in the snow and are sad that it has all melted away now...

Every year we throw a fun Halloween party for the kids of the neighborhood. It is so so fun. I had set up a cute scavenger hunt for the kids and they got really into it. Some other cute moms in our neighborhood did other activities/craft and I think the kids had the best time. And what would Halloween be with a traditional pumpkin carving night???

I was so lucky to help with Aaron's class party and to plan Annelise's class party. We really had fun in both classes! In Aaron's class I played a trick or treat game where the kids had to do a trick for me (like walk like Frankenstein) to get a treat. And in Annelise's class we made homemade Gak monsters. The kids LOVED the slime and the mess and it turned out so cute. I really love being involved with the kids in their classrooms. And the Halloween parade they had at the school was so fun to watch too.
