This cute little girl named Jennavecia had the biggest, longest standing crush on Aaron.  The teachers said she would follow aaron around and would always watch him.  At the performance her mom came up to me and said she just had to get a picture with him because she was going to miss him so much.

Aaron's teachers showed great emotion when it came time to say goodbye.  He has been with them for 3 great years and they will be missed.  He has told me many times how much he will miss them.  Right before we left, Mrs Call came up to Aaron and asked him what he is going to do when he grows up...and he said make lots of money to support you, and Mrs Moss and Mrs Rowley!

Aaron lost his first tooth!  It is a tooth that has given us a little grief over the last two years...after Aaron hit it on the side of the bunk bed...then again falling off his scooter.  And after two years of it hanging on we finally had the dentist take it out (after one wiggle)!  Aaron did really good and loved the laughing gas.  He is such a trooper.  His tolerance to pain amazes me.

I have been patiently waiting for this day...when Aaron would start playing baseball.  He is on the team the Pirates.  And can I just say how much I love baseball?  I hope he loves it too...so far he does!  He loves fielding the most too.

The soccer season ended last week.  And it ended with a good ending!  The kids got to meet the MLS SLC Real Soccer mascot, Leo the lion.  They loved it.  And they loved soccer.  Both kids have really shown great improvement.  Aaron is a great defender and Annelise is a good forward.  I am glad Josh was able to coach Aaron's team and got to spend extra time with them.

Annelise gave a presentation in school last week.  It was called a great brain project.  She chose to research and present on cartooning.  She did a great job and taught the class how to make a mini cartoon flip book.  She is a little artist!  And if I may talk of her...I spoke with her teacher in the hall the other day and her teacher told me Annelise is the most creative and artistically talented student she has ever had.  What a compliment!!!  She encouraged us to keep her using her art skills and to push her to do creative writing.

Josh went with Annelise on her class field trip to Hogle Zoo.  The weather was so nice so they had such a great time.  (he went a little overboard with the pics...)

Annelise is in a group called Showstoppers and on Tuesday they had their first of two performances.  The performance was called the best of High School Musical.  It was so cute and I loved watching Annelise perform.  She is in her element on stage dancing and singing.

Annelise's teacher, Mrs Inderrieden, is the most wonderful teacher.   We have just loved her this year.  And Annelise has learned so much.  And as if she could not get any more wonderful, she had her students over to her house for a party for those who read to their goal each month of the school year.  She has the most beautiful back yard and the kids loved it.  They got to eat dinner, sing songs, roast marshmallows, ride horses, ride ATV's, and play ping pong and other games.  It was such a fun evening.  I will truly miss Annelise's teacher and pray the other kids get her for a teacher in future years!

Josh is Mr. Spontaneous!  So we drove the dreaded drive to AZ for a weekend and had a great weekend and also an extra day in Vegas with Matt & Heidi!  While in AZ we got to see our new little nephew Dean.  And we saw Brandon, Mayra, and Owen.  Along with swimming and seeing other extended family we also went to the best concert by Mana.  Josh and I were definitely a minority...possibly being the only English speakers there...but we were not in minority in agreeing that Mana is amazing!!!  We loved our little weekend.

[We had the best seats too.  And I wish I would have taken more photos on my phone but it died.  Josh took a bunch of video and in the end of the concert caught the drum stick the drummer used that night.  But being the nice guy he is let a die hard fan behind us keep it. What a nice guy huh?]
