I wish that daylight savings was everyday. Meaning, that I gained an hour of time everyday! I could get so much more done! I must say that the monotony of life has gotten to me lately. The house just never can stay clean, work always needs to be done, not having enough time in the day to get all of it done, and there is always someone in need I must attend to! I am so busy...but it feels monotonous! What is wrong with me? So for this Thanksgiving, I am going to try super hard to be thankful for the monotony of life. I know we are so blessed- and it takes so little effort to really think about it and be thankful. I need to remind myself more to do it though.

I will say that I am so thankful for my cute family and all the fun things we get to do- and I only get to highlight a few things (whatever I snap pictures of). So here are some pictures and "highlights" of last weekend.

We all went fishing up along the Weber river. Josh has gotten into fly fishing and now I would classify him as addicted. He dreams in fish now...I can see how fun it could be though. Each time he goes he catches (and releases) at least 5 fish in like an hour. It was even fun to watch- despite freezing and getting snowed on! It made it so pretty though. I wish I had a better camera to capture it.

Then on Sat. the kids got to ride on Jaxon Whiting's atv. I must say they love him, and now love his toys! Annelise has loved having him in her class and Aaron looks up to him. It is cute. We do have the best neighbors.

Cole has been doing physical therapy lately too. He still cannot crawl or walk (he is 13 months old). He likes it and has improved a little. The therapist cannot keep commenting on how skinny his arms are and that he has such little muscular strength because he is so little. I am really starting to think there is a connection between him not growing in-utero has really affected how much he grows now. My doctor agrees now and is concerned that if he doesn't grow there may be a serious underlying problem. Cole is such a cute little boy- but let me just emphasize little for ya! He eats really good, but doesn't drink very much (not for lack of major effort to get him to). He must just have the metabolism that I wish I had!

Ok...so here's to being extra thankful for monotony of life until Thanksgiving...(and beyond) and also being so very thankful for my life.

Oh Brit, your kids are so adorable! And good for you for being thankful for the monotony of life. But I totally understand what your feeling. I hope that Cole's physical therapy continues to progress. Good luck.

That fishing looks pretty darn cold, you are troopers to stick it out in the snow.

Where are you doing Cole's PT? We know all about that over here.

Wow..I agree with Mayra..It looks so cold there. Maybe I don't want to live in Colorado :) That's cool that Josh loves to fly fish. (Is he trying to be Brad Pitt from "A River Runs through it"?) hahahah j/k I love that movie. We miss you guys too..Wish the vacation would work out for January, but doesn't look like it's going to.

Those kids are so cute. Don't they just make life that much more fun. I am sorry to hear about little Cole I had no idea he was having some stuggles. We we keep him in our thoughts and prayer! But it does look like you guys have been busy playing so that is always good!

I love Josh's new hobby...not :) Fish stink! J-K It really does look like it was fun up there though...as for the monotony of motherhood, at least we are here everyday for it with our kids right? Instead of dealing with the monotony of work...that what I tell myself every day :)
