Well...I thought I would just post the top 5 or so things that have been on my mind lately. So...here we go.
Numero Uno. I realize that the summer is ending! It has been getting darker earlier and it is cooler at nights. And...Annelise has her very last day of swim lessons tomarrow! I might be done with swimming altogether after tomarrow! That is actually kinda sad. She has really come far with her swimming and now can swim all by herslf for about 15 yards until she starts to loose confidence. I took her to get icecream to celebrate and I must say that I am so glad she is doing so well with it. Her teacher says she is just so tiny and then surprises you with a swim to the side! And I must say I am jealous of her tan little body. I am just the Shamu mom watching on the side with Aaron but I am a little sad it is ending. And with the soon passing of summer...that means school is starting soon to! Preschool again for Annelise and don't I wish Aaron was old enough for something!
Numero Dos. I am so not ready for three kids. I wouldn't even mind if the due date was farther away! I am just so afraid of what I am in for- (all you veteran moms are laughing at me now I know it!) Annelise is excited and Aaron has no idea whats going to happen soon. And me, I just know I am about to be so sleep deprived with three kids who need a mom...and there may be only scary-monster-brittanny-mom left for them! They are such sweet kids and I hope I can deliver for them.
Numero Tres. I am just about out of energy to do any last minute summer projects! It has been a pretty project-oriented last couple of months...and I must say I am done! We did a cute border/paint job in Aaron's room...and some paneling in Annelise's room and quite a few other big projects. Josh got pretty good with a nail gun and saw and showed his true manly side...and I decided that I have absolute respect for all the finish-work guys out there. It is way harder than it looks! I am just now getting all the paint out from under my fingernails and vow to not start another project for a while!
Numero Cuatro. Come to find out...I am obsessed with the Olympics. I have stayed up way too late watching them each night and can't go to sleep unless I have had my fill! I am not sure if it is the pregnancy hormones or what but I have gotten teary-eyed numerous times! It has been amazing to watch Michael Phelps win 8 Golds and I loved watching the Americans win so many medals in gymnastics and I love love love watching track and field. Diving is another favorite and I am so proud of our great athletes representing over in Beijing!
Numero Cinco. Now that the Twilight series is officially over for me (I read all four books) I really need something great to get excited about. I am so glad I read them, and I did so enjoy them (sometimes a little too much!) So, I started reading Tom Clancy books again. There is nothing like a Tom Clancy novel. There is no wonder most of his books have been made into movies! I love his books because they involve politics and some current events and a whole bunch of hypotheticals that may not be so hypothetical if we really knew what went on in our government! They are going to keep my mind pretty occupied until this baby comes.
Well, that just happens to be what is on my mind lately...there is other stuff floating around in there- but those are just some highlights for ya. So tell me...what is the biggest issue on your mind lately?

You know, we are still swimming down here...because it's still 110degrees!!! (Thought I needed to throw that in.) And the whole beached whale comment...yeah right! I highly doubt it! You always look amazing. So now that you finished the series, what did you think of the last book?
So your mind is pretty full!! But I too share in your hesitation of more kids...and I'm only on 2!! I just absolutely need my sleep, then I'm good. I want to see Aarons room, is it done??
I've been eating up the Olympics to, they are inspiring.
Glad you got all you projects done you need to relax for a month and try to store up your energy for munchkin #3. You'll need it!!
your family is so cute and hope things go well w/ the 3rd..I'd be scared too!
Brittanny, I'm surprised at your top 5...my brain was in a much more disturbing place 1 month before I had my 3rd baby! You seem very calm and put together. Anyway, one thing I learned is that when the 3rd one comes, everyone has to learn patience, whether they want to or not. That means you, your spouse and each of your individual kids! I guarantee everyone gets to spend a little more time crying and waiting their turn!
First off I love your new background- you are so talented!! And don't freak yourself out about 3 kids! The first month or so is a bit crazy, but once everyone figures out to be a bit more patient it all seems to fall into place. Good luck!!
I love the new background. The only thing that has been on my mind lately are the BOARDS. I am so terrified to take them. I can bet that you know how I am feeling about them. Hopefully they will over soon and I will have good news to report. And don't worry about the sleep thing, someone once told me that you can sleep when you are dead. Although since I am the nap queen, maybe not the best advice.
You will be fine with 3 kids! you are such a good mom. Let me know when you have your baby! I want to come see the sweet little thing. Take Care and just relax
Oh Britt, you are a wonderful mom of two and will be a wonderful mom of three! I wish I had all your energy so I could finish all my half finished projects! That is what is on my mind, projects that need to be finished with no time to finish them! By the way, you look beautiful too!
I love the new blog!!! And having 3kids comes very natural. I was very worried too, and it's scary but you will do great!! I want to come see your kids rooms, I need some ideas!! And I am very obsesses with the Olympics too I love them!!
I'm still adjusting to 3 kids myself, 9 months later. It's definitely harder! But they're so cute, so it's worth it. I've also been staying up late watching the Olympics. I'll be glad when they are over so I can get more sleep.
Remember, you are going from a "man to man defense" to a "zone" defense. The baby is worth the two older children put together when going anywhere!
Do ya just feel super 'daydreamy' always? Trouble concentrating? I feel way stupider when prego and for sure act it;)
So, of all those things I'm missing an update..last I heard there's complications with your pregnancy & think ya should post an update of what little Cole's up to & how things are progressing...cause I am lost
You so cute Brittany. I just love reading what is going on in your mind. You are such a blessing in my life. Thanks for sharing a little bit of you.
I think I am realizing summer is almost over!!!! sad! we better make the best of this next week, right? and you are too funny, I don't mind at all what you wrote about my little "shiz kicker" or whatever it was. that's fun for you to remember your dad in anything you can! and my husband loves the olympics too! they were always on.
