I love that there is such a fun, indoor pool that we can take the kids to swim during the cold months. And I think they are thankful too since they ALL have a strong love for water!

My sweet Grandma Dodie Harline died recently and I just miss her. She is my dad's mom and I can only imagine the reunion she has had in heaven with her spouse, Darrell, who died before I was born, with my dad, and with many other loved ones. We will miss her here greatly though. I posted just a few pictures of her and our family at Christmas.
ReMeMbEr ThE TiMe...
I found some pics of Christmases from my childhood and just had to post them because they make me so happy. Every holiday I experience gets better and better the older you are and especially with children. Except...Christmas. Don't get me wrong, it is absolutely wonderful now...it is just different. The memories I have from Christmas as a child, especially while my dad was alive is nothing to compare to. Christmas was so magical as a child, and I sure hope that my kids will and do feel the same.

I love Christmas lights...and you know who else really does??! Damon. He is very fascinated and loves them. And the kids had a kick out of the Layton lights and the other lights we took them to see that were coordinated to music. It is pretty amazing!

Annelise has been taking dance this past few months and had her first perfomance. They did a dance to "Let it Snow" and it turned out so cute. Annelise sure loves to perform and did a great job. I love to see her dance because it was such a huge part of my life growing up and gave me alot of happiness then and now. Her costume was the cutest one of the whole night! And of course Annelise is the cutest dancer we know!! ;)
ArT CLasS
Annelise is quite the artist and is in art classes. Her teacher wrote in her evaluation that she is exceptionally talented in art for her age. I agree so I am glad she enjoys class. For their end of semester project they presented a mural they painted with a partner. Annelise did one with her best friend Olivia of the Grand Canyon.
EcOnOmiCs FaiR
In third grade, the students get to participate in an ecomonics fair where they make a product, (Annelise chose to sew rice bags), and then they sell them in a fair to anyone in the school and parents who come. It was a great success and Annelise loved learning about the process. And she sold out of her product pretty quickly!!

Annelise's bday started off with a special surprise and then at school she got a special lunch brought to her and then afterschool she got to get her ears pierced! She was so brave and didn't cry, but sure hugged the "claire bear" tightly. She also got to bring her fav. babysitter, Lexi, and then after Lexi watched the boys so we could take her to dinner just josh and I. And lastly, we had a Repunzel cake and opened presents! I think she loved her special day and I hope she knows how much we love her!!!
