Updates: Aaron got to go home after 3 days in the hospital. He was really happy about it! So was I, since it was getting so difficult to take care of the other kids while needing to be there with Aaron. Thanks to all that helped us, (prayers & all) we have the best family and friends.

SiCk DaYs?

Our sweet little Aaron has been so sick since Sunday. He has had severe vomitting (almost every hour for 3 days) and diarrhea, which gave him severe dehydration and vomitting blood; which landed him in the hospital.

Before the IV...he was the most lethargic I have ever seen himThen, come to find out he has a severe rotoviral infection so he had to stay longer than anticipated. It has been just yucky. Annelise went up in him room last night and cried because she missed him, and I must say the traveling and arranging of kids while he has lived at the hospital has been hard. I cannot imagine what some families have to go throught with the extended stays. We know that Aaron will eventually get better, but for now, he is still on IV and maybe will be able to come home soon. We sure love him, and I gotta say it is so hard to see your child suffer like this. He is such a patient boy, and the nurses are amazed with his pain tolerance. I am too...love that boy. Get better Aaron.

HaPpY SeCoNd BiRtHdAy CoLe!

Cole had his second bday on Sunday, and in honor of his long standing nickname, Colers-Bolers, we did a "bowling" themed cake.
Annelise made her own version of invitations [for just the family members ;)]
We were going to try to go bowling saturday, but with conference and soccer, we just ran out of time. Cole loved his atv toy from G. Vicky and G. Delyn, and his lego and cars from Grammy. He also got a monster truck from his sister and brother, and lots of hugs and kisses all day. We do sure love our Colers. (bolers) Happy birthday, and thanks for being in our family.

ToOf FaIrY

Well, it is pronounced tooth fairy...needless to say, Annelise had her very first visit! She was so unbelievably excited and had no fear of wiggling the heck out of her little tooth to get that visit! She is super proud of her toothless smile now too. The Tooth Fairy left her a note sprinkled with glitter (from her fairy pockets), $2 and a small prize.

Annelise wrote her a note asking to keep the tooth


Here's the poem that she wrote that had a cute picture on it of the tooth fairy...

You’ve been a good child all this time,
So I, the tooth fairy will leave your tooth I call mine
Your first tooth only yesterday fell,
In return a dollar; or special treat if you promise to spend it well!

I must say the tooth fairy is quite the poet. ;)
